Ever wonder...?

Georg C. Lichtenberg 1742–99, German physicist and satirist once said“One's first step in wisdom is to question everything - and one's last is to come to terms with everything”.
So today coming in to work I came across a homeless guy who was feeding some pigeons. It occurred to me that the world we live in is full of so much wonder. On this bright Thursday morning this homeless guy who had probably had a long cold night with not enough to eat, was awake feeding the pigeons and doing it with a smiling face. Sometimes the answers to life stare us right in the face yet we walk on by. So ever wonder why the hungry and the down and out love nature the most. Why a hungry man with nothing would share the little he has with the birds? Ever wonder why the mentally disabled and the handicapped have the greatest smiles. Always happy. Yet we with everything share nothing with nature and walk around with gloomy faces. Ever wonder ever wonder ever …. Still wondering....

This weekend this movie is coming out ,make sure you go see it .This year you have to make it appoint out of all the movies you see to see ,One night with the king and The Nativity in december.

I am still working through your archives, and I was hit over the head by the post about 'special orders'. At least it will calm me down at the pizza place. Let us see if it works out the same way in real life.
The one on your resolutions was nice, you never did post about the Elijah-Jezebel book, did you?
Did you read the Joshua Harris book? There is another one by a certain Elizabeth Elliot- Passion and purity:Bringing your love-life under Christ's control. Very radical thinking.
Have yourself a good weekend. I am enjoying your blog and the resources you make available as links.

No i havent had a chance to look at Joshua Harris or Elizabeth Elliot but i will most definately look out for them .Wild at heart john Eldrich was a big influence on my resolutions .which i must say i am still keeping .The stalked by jezebel post hasnt seen the light but its funny how i keep running into that spirit. i Might do the same post but more inline with asking God for a spirit of discernment and less on my personal experience. anyway have a blessed weekend. say hi to anastasia waitherero opudo lol

Another one that might be useful in that line is the extremely controversial 'No more sheets' by Yuanita Bynum-Wicks. It is a book by a woman, targetted mostly at women, but I think the principles apply for guys as well if turned inside out.
Will say hi to Stacy darling, and tell her that 'Uncle Joe' has re-baptized her.

Yuanita Bynum and her husband are deadly when it comes to relationship advice. i think they have a circuit thing the do called teach me to love you. i caught a glimpse of it and i was so impressed and at the same time i was dying of laughter. ,ill look out for that one too

Where did you see that? I would be interested in having a look at it. Why would you laugh about serious business like relationship advice :-) ? Waitherero says hi, she was quite amused that someone would give her a full Kikuyu name.
