2005 Walking the walk

The year is coming to a close and what a year it has been. Last year I made the song Order my steps in your word my theme song and wow this year I saw the word of God come alive before my eyes. I consider my self well read (Believe it I know it’s hard) but I had never read the Bible from cover to cover. So in 2005 I set out to read 3 chapters a day until I was done. All I can say is you know that verse that the word of God is sharper than a double edge sword. It is so true and an encounter with it is life changing.

So I guess ill go through the things that really shocked me as I took the journey through the word and you will probably see what I mean that the bible is like no other book . It’s alive.
(God willing in Next few posts )

The Bible says in the beginning there was the word and the word was God. That’s a very powerful statement that we often overlook. Just take two minutes and think. In the beginning was the word and the word was God.

In 2006 My hope is that God will enable me to understand His word ever more deeply than I can hope or imagine .That I will remain faithful and true to every word He has for me because I know that in 2006 that is all I need .

My hope is that he will do the same for you, so from my family and my self to you and your family Merry Christmas and a happy new year
God bless.

Before you read the Bible say a simple prayer ask God to reveal what he wants you to see and to give you wisdom to understand. As for discipline I think its more of technique Read the Bible in some order don’t jump read each book completely and since the Bible is chronological start from the beginning otherwise you might not understand some things coz u missed the precedence

I did the three chapters a few years ago, and I was very inspired. I hope the reading will truly bless you and open your eyes, ears and heart to the Father of all Love
