Happy Hero's Day & יְרוּשָׁלַיִם Video

Heroes usually fulfill the definitions of what is considered good and noble in the originating culture. Some societies place the willingness to sacrifice the self for the greater good as the most important defining characteristic of a hero. However, heroes more often than not have serious flaws which lead to a downfall,Chief Watatua and Chief Waiyaki quickly come to mind . Heroes are often tragic ! and for that reson alone I have never wanted to be a hero.when Robert the Bruce was facing Richard "the lion heart" in the quest for a free Scotland his father told him "Heros die,but it is a mans nobility and his ability to compromise is what makes him great" .
That said I have nothing against heros, I love the fact that some people are born to be heroes.while some are born for greatness. The two being distinctly different .Again that said I must say to walk in humility, compromise and wisdom as my route to achieve greatness is what I aspire for rather than being a hero .Since I enjoy the fruits of the sacrifies that heroes have made and I say God bless the heroes God knows we need heroes, just let me never be one.

Hey, hope you had a happy heroes' day too. I like the way your blog looks now, but what happened to all the links you had over there on the side?
